Tupperware

The Toronto Design Exchange is showing a new exhibit, aptly entitled PLASTIC. The entire exhibition is dedicated to designs in plastic, featuring the world's most familiar and pioneering face in plastic -- Tupperware!
The Toronto's Design Exchange Museum has exposed its visitors, since 1994, to the evolution of decorative, industrial and technological design. By taking a chronological look at design from the pre-1945 era, visitors can draw a parallel social history of the objects' makers and users. PLASTIC is an interdisciplinary showcase of the many faces of plastic, and will be open to the public from September 22nd through February of 2005.
